Review:
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone is about a young orphan boy named Harry Potter who discovers that he has magical powers. Harry is first confronted by a giant named Hagrid who tells him that he gets to go to a school for wizards called Hogwarts. Harry is excited but his uncle tells him that he cannot go to this school. (Harry's uncle and aunt both hate magic.) In the end Hagrid takes Harry to Hogwarts, but first he has to buy his clothes, books, and wand. This is Harry's first wizarding experience. At Hogwarts he meets Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. (These 3 children are the main characters throughout the series.) Harry is disappointed when he finds out that he cannot use magic outside of school. He is also dissapointed that he has to go back home to the Dursleys.
