Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone

Review:
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone is about a young orphan boy named Harry Potter who discovers that he has magical powers. Harry is first confronted by a giant named Hagrid who tells him that he gets to go to a school for wizards called Hogwarts. Harry is excited but his uncle tells him that he cannot go to this school. (Harry's uncle and aunt both hate magic.) In the end Hagrid takes Harry to Hogwarts, but first he has to buy his clothes, books, and wand. This is Harry's first wizarding experience. At Hogwarts he meets Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. (These 3 children are the main characters throughout the series.) Harry is disappointed when he finds out that he cannot use magic outside of school. He is also dissapointed that he has to go back home to the Dursleys.

Eldest

Review:
Eldest is book 2 in the Inheritance Cycle. It contains most of Eragon's magic training and travels. In this book Eragon learns how to control is magic and also has created a few spells of his own. He also learns of another Rider and has to fight him. This book is not as good as the first but it is still definitely worth reading.

Dragon Rider

Review:
A well written children's fantasy about a boy, a catlike thing called a browny, and a dragon. They all are trying to rescue the dragons from the humans. Thyee travel across deserts and meet marvelous creatures on their jouney. It is a very interesting and captivating book, but it is very childish so i would not recommend it for teens or older.

Eragon

Review:
This book is well written interesting and exciting. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys fantasy and action books. Eragon is about a boy who discovers a dragon egg and starts to care for it. This is very strange since the only dragon eggs are held by the king. Soon after the dragon hatches Eragon begins to notice that he has strange powers. He must learn how to control these powers or he will be arrested. It is a perfect book for anyone who likes to read a ton. It has 503 pages so it takes some time to read.
